About The Position

The Nurse Educator (RN) is a dynamic nursing leader responsible for developing and delivering educational programs that promote clinical excellence, professional growth, and quality patient care. This role serves as a mentor, coach, and resource for nursing staff while supporting the development of a highly skilled and engaged workforce. As part of an innovative pilot program, the Nurse Educator will play a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating an Internal MOA Training Program, helping to establish educational standards, onboarding processes, credentialing pathways, and preceptor development initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of workforce development by creating learning experiences that support employee success from hire through ongoing professional advancement. The Nurse Educator facilitates orientation and onboarding for new employees, supports competency validation and credentialing requirements, and partners with operational leaders to identify educational needs and foster continuous learning. Through collaboration, mentorship, and evidence-based education, the Nurse Educator helps ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Three (3) years Nursing Practice experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
  • CPR within 3 months of hire.

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
  • Previous teaching experience
  • Professional nursing certification in Professional Development
  • Professional certification in another nursing area
