This is a role in our Training & Development division of Human Resources that requires a nursing degree and clinical background. Requirements
- Current RN Licensure in the State of Florida required.
- 2-5 years of experience as an RN required.
Nice To Haves
- BLS, Workplace Violence Training, and BLS Instructor certification preferred.
- 1+ years of experience with regulatory surveys preferred.
- Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the general diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and nursing care of patients.
- Serves as a clinical resource to preceptors, orientees, staff, educators, and students.
- Collaborates with management team in the development of orientation for new employees relevant to their needs as deemed appropriate.
- Serves as consultant to management and staff in nursing and non-nursing departments under the guidance of the Director/Manager.
- Works collaboratively with clinical managers nursing personnel and non-nursing personnel as specified in established policies.
- Collaborates with Manager of Education to design, plan, coordinate, and evaluate formal education programs for specific clinical area based on staff, hospital needs, and age specific criteria.
- For Nursing and Non-Nursing Clinical departments under the guidance of the Director/Manager.
- Assist in creating unit based and annual competencies for staff in clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Provides in service programs to clinical and non-clinical departments as deemed appropriate.
- Assists the Director/Manager in maintaining updated personnel's HR files to comply with various regulatory requirements.
