About The Position

This is a split position between the Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Unit and the Adolescent Female Crisis Stabilization Unit. Both units provide multidisciplinary assessment, evaluation, crisis intervention, and stabilization for adolescents. The Adolescent Female Crisis Stabilization Unit has 22 beds. Discharge planning on both units emphasizes transition to day hospital or outpatient care as soon as the crisis has been stabilized. The Nurse Coordinator supports unit operations and nursing staff, provides clinical expertise and direct patient care as needed, contributes to staff development and treatment planning, and helps maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role also assists the nurse leader with staffing, candidate screening, orientation, performance appraisal, and resolution of clinical or administrative issues.
