Nurse Clinician - Gynecologic Oncology Clinic
About The Position
We are hiring a full time day shift RN for our Gynecology/Oncology Clinic. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves phone triage for an assigned group of patients, scheduling emergent-need appointments, handling patient follow-up calls, and providing patient education on procedures and processes. The RN will serve as a subject matter expert in their specialty for hospital RNs and regularly collaborate with other disciplines to share best practices. The position includes face-to-face patient contact, with patient care time typically for those undergoing long-term treatment processes. This role is applicable in highly complex specialty areas and is generally performed within a specialty clinic setting.
Requirements
- 2 years Applicable Experience
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Registered Nurse - Various
- Associate Degree
Nice To Haves
- Previous Gynecology and or Oncology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Phone Triage for physician for assigned group of patients.
- Schedules emergent-need appointments.
