About The Position

Reporting to the Inpatient Manager, the Unit Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care and services are provided to the patients and families in Inpatient Services. As an experienced practitioner, the Unit Coordinator acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, coordination, teaching and support to the patient care team which includes the patient, family members and interdisciplinary team members within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in planning, program design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • 2 years of recent clinical experience with clients in a mental health setting.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
  • Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK (CRPNS).

  • Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal/consultative relationships

  • Organize/prioritize work on multiple projects with competing deadlines
