About The Position

The Clinical Coordinator, under the direction of the Manager, is primarily accountable for the system navigation and coordination of patient flow on the nursing unit. This is achieved by the Coordinator having an ongoing awareness and involvement in workflow of the unit. Duties include bed management, discharge planning, advocating for the patient/family, identifying supply and equipment needs and assisting with staff scheduling. Requirements

  • Five (5) years acute care nursing experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Nursing diploma
  • Critical Care Nursing certificate (CCN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • ACLS training required upon hire
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills
