About The Position

The Assistant Head Nurse assists the Care Team Manager to assess, plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate Nursing Services of the nursing department in keeping with the policies, philosophies and objectives of the SHA. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Advanced - Written Communication Skills
• Advanced - Verbal communication skills
• Basic - Computer skills
• Ability to implement, utilize & evaluate best practice models of client care
• Ability to promote a collaborative and team approach
• Excellent management, leadership, organizational and decision making skills
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
