About The Position
Reporting to the Manager, Children’s Interprofessional Practice & Hearing Health, the Pediatric Rehab Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations, coordination and organizing resources, contributes to the planning, implementing and evaluating education resources for parents, as well as contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Children’s Rehab Program.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Minimum of five (5) years recent acute care pediatric nursing experience
- Three (3) years of which must be involve charge nurse and/or coordination experience
- Registered or eligible for registration with College of Registered Nurses (CRNS)
- Ability to support the development of standard work, clinical guidelines
- Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships and communication with other health care professionals; ability to build and maintain relationships based on trust, accountability and open communication
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent analytical, judgment and decision-making skills
- Computer skills and working knowledge of current software programs (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Valid driver’s license as travel is required
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification
- Previous supervisory experience
