Nurse B - Public Health Nurse
About The Position
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluation of the health and health risks for clients. Scope of practice requires a broad knowledge base and autonomous decision making skills. PHN provides consultation and support to a wide array of professionals in the community and delivers community health nursing services to individuals, families and groups. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- One (1) year of public health experience required
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Assessment skills
- Change management skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions
- Knowledge of population health approach to health promotion/prevention
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
