Nurse Assistant (CNA) Medical Surgical Department

We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to deliver the best possible nursing care in our patient-focused Medical/Surgical setting. Under the clinical supervision of the Licensed Nurse, you will function as a member of the healthcare team to provide patient care to Medical/Surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include providing basic nursing care within the Nursing Assistant’s scope of practice, addressing psychosocial and physical needs for a wide range of diagnoses and ages.
Requirements
- Completion of the 75-hour nurse aide course, currently a student in an accredited nursing program, current EMT certification, or completion of the hospital-sponsored nurse aide class.
- Nursing Assistant certification.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting certification, or ability to obtain in accordance with the education policy.
Nice To Haves
- One year of medical/surgical hospital experience.
Responsibilities
