Nurse Apprentice - ED
About The Position
The Student Nurse Apprentice assists professional nursing staff with activities of daily living and vital signs, ensuring patient safety and comfort while adhering to instructions and established routines. They perform duties using recognized methods and techniques, aiming to provide maximum patient care within their scope. Under direct supervision of a licensed nurse, they may perform clinical procedures learned at their School of Nursing, excluding medication administration, and must provide documentation from their clinical instructor for these procedures.
Requirements
- PRN
- Enrolled in a School of Nursing and in good standing.
- In last year of an accredited BSN program or the last semester of an accredited ASN program.
- Provide documentation from their School of Nursing that verifies level of clinical skills completed prior to performing any duties beyond a CNA.
- BLS/CPR Certification
