About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Shakopee, MN. The role involves providing anesthesia care for surgical services and endoscopy procedures in a hospital setting. The coverage period is from ASAP to May 17, 2027, with a Monday-Friday day shift schedule. The CRNA will manage patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, across a variety of surgical cases excluding cardiac and eyes. The facility has 90 beds in the department and uses the Epic EMR system. This is an ongoing/long-term coverage need.

Requirements

• Active MN License
• NBCRNA (National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists) Board Certification
• PALS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Ability to perform General Anesthesia
• Ability to perform Regional Anesthesia
• Ability to perform Sedation for Endoscopy
• Ability to perform Airway Management
• Hospital Privileges Required

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical services and endoscopy procedures.
• Manage airway and administer anesthesia for patients of all ages.
• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and manage pain.
