About The Position
BayCare Medical Group is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its collaborative anesthesia team at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Florida. The opportunity is open to experienced CRNAs and new graduates; BayCare’s “Earn as You Learn” program offers financial support during training. The team includes a Chief CRNA, five anesthesiologists, and 11 CRNAs, and uses a collaborative physician–CRNA care model. The average caseload is approximately 25 cases per day, covering OB/Gyn, robotics, pediatrics, urology, thoracic, ENT, vascular, oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastics, general surgery, and orthopedic spine. Cardiac and neurology cases are not performed, and spine cases are rare. OB anesthesia experience or interest is highly preferred. Scheduling options include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. Call is beeper-only, with no in-house overnight requirement, and consists of two overnight shifts per month: one weekday shift and one weekend shift, each from 7 PM to 7 AM. The hospital is a renovated campus with 146 private patient rooms, a dedicated 20-unit infusion center, modern outpatient imaging services, and a one-mile walking trail.
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

Responsibilities
