Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
About The Position
We are seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Kokomo, IN. This role involves providing clinical coverage for both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will be available from September 1st onwards and can ideally cover a Monday-Friday schedule from 7 am to 3 pm. The patient volume is approximately 5 per day, with a diverse case mix including Endo, GI, ENT, Gen Surg, Ortho, and GYN. The position does not require coverage for complex cardiac or OB cases, but does include complete Ortho, Head Spine, Neuro, Pediatric & Regional cases. The facility utilizes Epic EMR and has 20 beds in the department. Hospital privileges are required.
Requirements
- Active IN License or IMLC
- BC (Board Certified)
- BLS, ABLS, ACLS certifications
- Ability to cover both IP & OP surgery center cases
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical coverage for inpatient and outpatient surgery center cases.
- Manage a case mix including Endo, GI, ENT, Gen Surg, Ortho, GYN, complete Ortho, Head Spine, Neuro, Pediatric & Regional.
- Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures, excluding complex cardiac or OB cases.
- Work collaboratively with support staff including RNs, MAs, and office staff.
- Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation.
