About The Position
This position requires a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and interacting frequently with patients. The CRNA must possess knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and adhere to VCUHS policies and procedures. The position serves all age groups and requires the ability to work all shifts.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Virginia
- Current license to practice in specialty area (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist-CRNA) in Virginia
- Current CRNA certification by the National Board on Certification/Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Masters Degree in Nursing from an accredited program specific to area of practice
- Must possess knowledge of local, federal and state laws and regulations and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards related to position’s chief objective
- Demonstrate aptitude for compliance with VCUHS policies, procedures and customer services philosophy
- Lifting 50-100 lbs.
