About The Position
BayCare Medical Group (BMG) is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join their anesthesia team at St. Joseph’s Hospital, a key facility within the BayCare Health System in Tampa, Florida. This role offers a collaborative practice environment with physicians, CRNAs, and AAs, focusing on a broad, high-acuity case mix. The position provides diverse surgical case variety, including Trauma, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics, Vascular, EP, IR, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Thoracic, OMFS, Endoscopy, Urology, and ENT, with no open hearts. Pediatric support and mentorship are available. The role offers flexible scheduling with options for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. St. Joseph’s Hospital is a 615-bed community hospital, part of the BayCare Health System, known for its advanced technology and extensive physician network. The Tampa Bay area offers access to beaches, recreation, and a vibrant cultural scene.
Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation (or anticipated) from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care within a collaborative anesthesia team.
- Manage a broad, high-acuity case mix.
- Participate in diverse surgical cases including Trauma, OB/Gyn, Pediatrics, Vascular, EP, IR, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Thoracic, OMFS, Endoscopy, Urology, and ENT.
- Provide pediatric support and gain comfort managing children of all ages with mentorship.
- Work within a medically supervised practice.
