About The Position

We are seeking a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Iron River, MI. This is an inpatient role with a need for supplemental coverage. The coverage period is from August 26th ongoing, with specific dates in August and September requiring attention. The role is clinical only, with a shift schedule of Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts. The patient volume is typically between 2-8 patients per day, with a case mix including Regional anesthesia. Required procedures include General Anesthesia for adults, and Spinal Anesthesia & Regional Anesthesia Surgery. The department has 1 bed and the facility is a Level IV Trauma center. EMR used is Epic. Temporary privileges are available, and travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Requirements

• Active MI License
• BC/BE
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Administer General Anesthesia for adults.
• Perform Spinal Anesthesia & Regional Anesthesia Surgery.
• Provide anesthesia services in an inpatient setting.
• Manage patient care during procedures.
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation.
