About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at an Academic Medical Center in Charleston, SC. The role involves providing clinical anesthesia services for adult surgical patients across various specialties, excluding Blocks, OB, or Cardiac cases. The CRNA will work in a medically directed practice with approximately 42 other CRNAs and will utilize the Epic EMR system. Coverage is ongoing starting September 7, 2026, with 13-hour shifts available.
Requirements
- Active South Carolina License or Well in Process
- NBCRNA Certification Required
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
- Epic proficiency required

Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a medically directed practice
- Deliver anesthesia care across multiple surgical specialties
- Float between designated MUSC locations as needed
- Document patient care in Epic
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and perioperative teams
