About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Flint, Michigan. This role is based in a hospital setting, focusing on clinical duties only. The coverage period is from August 1, 2026, ongoing, with a shift schedule of 10 and 12-hour shifts, 2-3 shifts per week. The facility handles an average of 35 surgical cases per day across 16 ORs, with a patient demographic of adults only. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- NBCRNA Certified
- Active Michigan license
- BLS, ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Clean record
- Local candidate
Responsibilities
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels intraoperatively
- Perform pre‑operative patient assessments and develop anesthesia plans
- Provide post‑anesthesia care and pain management evaluation
- Document all anesthesia care accurately in the Cerner EMR system
