About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services in a medically directed practice. The role is based in Charleston, SC, within a hospital setting. The coverage is clinical only and is needed ASAP on an ongoing basis, with a minimum commitment of 3 months and the option to extend. The CRNA will be responsible for providing anesthesia for adult patients across a variety of case types, including General Anesthesia, Neuro/Spine, Orthopedics, Oncology, ENT, GYN, and Urology. The facility features 21 OR suites, is a Level I Trauma center, and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Full surgical specialties and approximately 42 CRNAs provide support.

Requirements

• Active South Carolina CRNA License
• Certified CRNA
• DEA: As Required
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Epic proficiency required
• Must live more than 60 miles from facility

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a medically directed practice.
• Work at Main Hospital, Ashley Tower and Rutledge Tower as needed.
• Document in Epic.
• Complete required orientation and training.
• Maintain weekend coverage schedule.
