About The Position

Riverside's Nurse Aide Program is designed to transition new hires from Hospitality Assistants to fully licensed Certified Nurse Aides. Participants will begin as a Hospitality Assistant in a labor pool status until they enter an accelerated 4-week program. This program provides the necessary skills and knowledge to pass the CNA boards. Classes require full-time day shift hours, and participants are compensated for all course and clinical hours. Upon successful completion of the program and passing the Virginia Board of Nursing – Nurse Aide exam, graduates will transition into a full-time or part-time CNA position within a Lifelong Health facility (skilled rehab, long term care, or assisted living). Full-time positions require a 12-month work commitment, and part-time positions require an 18-month work commitment post-graduation. Positions in home health or acute care do not qualify for this program. Graduates are eligible for reimbursement for exam registration costs.
