About The Position
CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a Level V Emergency Department available 24 hours a day. Since 1952, our hospital has been dedicated to providing quality medical treatment to patients in the Turtle Lake area and surrounding communities. Over the years, we have continuously sought to upgrade the quality and scope of our services. Our affiliation with major medical centers and healthcare agencies has enabled us to expand our healthcare services through a local network. CHI St. Alexius Health Turtle Lake is equipped with two emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT, and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed programs, and acute care services. As our Nurse Aide, you will work under the supervision of the RN Charge Nurse/Director of Nursing. Every day, you will provide nursing care as assigned and practice as a team member in the delivery of care. - ND State Nursing Assistant Registry
- Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly

Responsibilities
- Takes vital signs, measures intake/output, height, and weight, and obtains routine lab samples
- Provides comprehensive support for bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and toileting
- Assists with patient equipment, transfers (bed to chair), and transportation within the facility
- Monitors patient progress, identifies needs for medical intervention, removes hazards, and maintains clean, orderly patient rooms
- Sets up patients for meals, assists with feeding as needed, and documents meal intake
- Promptly answers all patient signal lights and functions collaboratively as a team member in care delivery, while adhering to infection control protocols
