About The Position
The Nurse Aide works under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff to provide direct patient care in accordance with established hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. This is a per diem position in the CPH West 3 department at CPH. The role provides patient- and family-centered care and customer service while supporting safe patient outcomes and maintaining a clean environment.
Requirements
- BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Evidence of successful completion of a nurse aide training course at hire.
- Previous experience as a Nurse Aide.
Responsibilities
- Performs and documents direct comprehensive, family- and patient-centered care under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Provides world-class customer service to patients and families.
- Reports patient conditions directly to licensed nursing staff to support positive patient outcomes.
- Maintains a safe, clean, patient- and family-centered environment.
