About The Position

This position focuses on providing basic health care, supporting resident independence, and helping maintain a clean and safe environment. It plays an important part in ensuring high-quality care for every resident. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties: Resident Care: Provide hygiene support, meet physical and emotional needs, and maintain a clean environment Rehabilitation Support: Assist staff with restorative programs that help residents build independence and confidence Communication Skills: Use therapeutic communication and notify supervisors about changes in resident status Daily Assistance: Help residents with meals, personal tasks, bed-making, and proper care of belongings Activity Support: Escort residents to appointments and encourage participation in programs and activities Skill Development: Attend training to strengthen job skills and improve care quality.

Requirements

  • Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry
  • Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents
  • Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry (for long-term or specialized care facilities)
  • Ability to perform essential job functions
  • Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance (conditional offer of employment)
  • Medical examination and drug screening (conditional offer of employment)
