Nurse Aide in Training CNA class
About The Position
Vancrest of Van Wert is seeking individuals to work as Nurse Aides in Training while preparing to become nursing assistants. No prior experience or certification is required. The application is for consideration for the next in-house STNA/CNA class. Candidates must successfully complete all class requirements and the state test to maintain employment. After completing the program, candidates must be willing to accept a second- or third-shift position, either full-time or part-time. Hourly pay increases upon placement into a full-time or part-time CNA position within the facility. Requirements
- No prior experience or certification is required.
- Successfully complete all class requirements and the state test to maintain employment.
- Be willing to accept a second- or third-shift position after completing the program; the position may be full-time or part-time.
Responsibilities
- Provide for residents’ personal care needs with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
- Ensure residents’ medical needs are addressed through the delivery of quality nursing care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant physical environment.
- Ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met in accordance with the established care plan.
- Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.
