About The Position
We are looking for a dependable, compassionate individual to join our Long-Term Care team as a Nurse Aide in Training. In this role, you will support a safe, clean, and engaging environment for residents by performing essential non-direct care tasks under the direction of nursing leadership while working toward your CNA certification.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal directions
- Ability to learn job tasks through training and orientation
- Successful completion of background check per Wisconsin Caregiver Law

Responsibilities
- Make unoccupied beds and maintain clean, organized resident rooms
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and perform general cleaning throughout the facility
- Stock and distribute clean linens; collect used linen and clothing
- Clean equipment and personal care items as directed
- Assist with transporting residents in wheelchairs and accompany them to appointments
- Engage residents in simple activities such as reading, walks, or games
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide basic wayfinding assistance
- Monitor residents or areas as assigned
- Assist in the dining room (excluding direct meal assistance)
- Follow all safety procedures and promptly report hazards
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights
- Support person-centered care and attend required in-service training
