About The Position

Vancrest of Van Wert is accepting applications for its next in-house STNA/CNA class. No prior experience or certification is required, making this an opportunity to begin a nursing career while training to become a nursing assistant. Class hours are unpaid. After completing the training and being placed in a full-time or part-time CNA position at the facility, the hourly pay increases. Successful completion of all class requirements and the state test is required to maintain employment. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide for residents’ personal care needs with an emphasis on quality, compassion, and timeliness.
• Help ensure residents’ medical needs are addressed through quality nursing care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant physical environment.
• Ensure residents’ nutritional needs are met in accordance with established care plans.
• Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.
