About The Position
The Nurse Administrator manages patient care delivery across all hospital units at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Hospital. The role provides hospital-wide nursing leadership, supporting nursing-led excellence, compliance, and the mission of putting patients first. It is a full-time night position requiring 37.5 hours per week, scheduled from 7:15 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. The position is based at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens Hospital in Flushing, New York, and requires on-site presence.
Requirements
- At least five years of acute care RN experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field; candidates currently pursuing a master's degree must obtain it within one year of hire.
- Current New York State RN license.
- BCLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Demonstrated managerial skills.
