About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be experienced in performing a wide range of nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. This role is in a fast-paced clinical environment with advanced imaging technology and offers the opportunity for assignment extension based on performance and facility needs. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork, flexibility, and patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience (2 years required for first-time travelers)
  • Experience in a hospital setting required
  • Ability to work across multiple units (Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT)
  • Willingness to take on-call shifts and rotating weekends
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts and occasional overtime
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field

Nice To Haves

  • PET/CT experience preferred (at least 6 months strongly preferred)
  • Siemens experience preferred
  • Epic experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures
  • Conduct scans including bone, cardiac, renal, thyroid, and lung studies
  • Prepare, handle, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with safety protocols
  • Perform venipuncture and maintain IV access
  • Operate imaging equipment (Siemens experience preferred)
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety and patient care standards
  • Float between Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT units as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation (Epic experience preferred)
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
