Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team at West Anaheim Medical Center, an acute-care hospital. This role is responsible for providing quality imaging and supporting the Radiologist by assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Key duties also include the processing and transmission of images to PACS. West Anaheim Medical Center is a 219-bed acute-care hospital founded in 1964, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare, with key services including general medical and surgical inpatient care, emergency services, surgical services, behavioral health, a comprehensive heart center, and diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
- Current BCLS (AHA)
- Proficient computer skills
Nice To Haves
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment
