About The Position

Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed for a travel assignment in Saint Helena, California. This 13-week opening starts 08/17/2026 in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Expect 40 hours per week on a daytime 5x8 shift. This assignment offers a weekly pay range of $3,033 to $3,250.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine (Required)
• State Nuclear Medicine License required (CA)
• ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB certification required
• Venipuncture certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least two years of recent experience in the nuclear medicine field.
• Current nursing license per the state of assignment
• ability to work in a hospital setting and complete a travel assignment.

• Bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously for diagnostic imaging or therapeutic procedures, using radioisotope equipment.
• Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered; perform intravenous injections following established procedures.
• Conduct screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation and contribute to overall procedure quality control.
• Document all pertinent information regarding radioactive materials and surveys in the appropriate clinical records; communicate preparation instructions to care teams.
• Manage patient flow and assist with throughput to support inpatient and outpatient services; collaborate with radiologists and other team members.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment (including the GE Infinia Hawkeye camera) and adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality standards.
