This role requires foundational technical skills in nuclear medicine, the ability to administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, and the judgment necessary to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images. The technologist operates imaging equipment, ensures proper patient positioning, processes images, and supports exam documentation while adhering to all radiation safety requirements. The position may include PET/CT responsibilities and floating between locations as needed. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I works under supervision in complex situations but demonstrates independence in routine tasks, contributing to efficient workflow and high‑quality patient care.
