Requirements

  • Nuclear Medicine Technology diploma (NMT)
  • Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registered with College Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals Saskatchewan
  • Licensed with College Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan
  • Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Intermediate - Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Prepares radiopharmaceuticals and performs technical procedures utilizing radiation and/or radioactive materials for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology.
