About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide quality imaging. The technologist supports the Radiologist by assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.
Requirements
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH.
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology through ARRT or NMTCB.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
- Graduation from a program accredited by ARRT.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of acute clinical radiology experience.
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality imaging as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Support the Radiologist and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
