About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Orthopedic Surgery Division. This full-time position involves both outpatient practice at the SRS Frost Street clinic and inpatient responsibilities at Sharp Memorial Hospital and Sharp Coronado Hospital. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive hip and knee replacement care in close partnership with a Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon, aiming for exceptional outcomes and patient experience. The group is known for its integrated, patient-centered care and strong clinical support.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in an orthopedics setting required.
- Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license required.
- Current board certification in applicable specialty required.
- Must be comfortable working independently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with total joint orthopedic surgery and hip and knee replacements preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive hip and knee replacement care.
- Partner closely with a Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery.
- Practice primarily at the SRS Frost Street clinic.
- Perform inpatient responsibilities at Sharp Memorial Hospital and Sharp Coronado Hospital.
