NP/PA Orthopedic Surgery Full-Time Opening in San Diego, CA
About The Position
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Surgery Division. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) salaried position with a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule, including one hour for lunch. The role involves no nights, weekends, or call. Practice will primarily be at the SRS Frost Street clinic, with inpatient responsibilities at Sharp Memorial Hospital and Sharp Coronado Hospital, comprising approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient duties. The NP/PA will partner closely with a Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement surgery, delivering comprehensive care to ensure exceptional outcomes and patient experience.
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in an orthopedics setting required
- Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license required
- Current board certification in applicable specialty required
- Must be comfortable working independently
Nice To Haves
- Experience with total joint orthopedic surgery and hip and knee replacements preferred
