About The Position

The Learning & Development Lead – North America is a key contributor within the Learning & Development Center of Expertise (COE), responsible for translating enterprise learning strategy into high‑impact learning solutions for North America. This role partners closely with business leaders, HR, regional partners, and global COE counterparts to design, deliver, and continuously improve leadership, professional, and functional learning experiences aligned to business priorities. Operating as a thought partner and execution leader, the North America Learning & Development Lead plays a critical role in learning needs assessment, program design and deployment, vendor partnership, and learning impact measurement—ensuring solutions are scalable, consistent with global standards, and locally relevant across North America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Education, HR, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in learning, talent development, or organizational development, preferably within large, matrixed, or global organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering leadership and professional development programs.
  • Strong customer management skills, with the ability to partner credibly with senior leaders.
  • Experience using learning technologies (LMS/Cornerstone, digital content platforms) and using data to inform decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

  • Experience working within a Learning Center of Excellence (COE) or global HR model.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR, functional leaders, and regional partners to identify critical capability needs through structured learning needs assessments, interviews, and data analysis.
  • Translate business strategy and workforce priorities into actionable learning plans for North America, aligned with global COE standards and governance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on learning approaches that address leadership, functional, and professional capability gaps
  • Design, curate, and deploy blended learning solutions (virtual, in‑person, digital, cohort‑based, experiential) aligned to enterprise frameworks and the 70‑20‑10 philosophy in partnership with the COE design team.
  • Support leadership and talent development initiatives, including frontline leader, people manager, and professional skills programs, in partnership with global academies where applicable.
  • Ensure learning content is relevant, accessible, and adaptable for regional and local needs while maintaining global quality standards.
  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of learning programs, including scheduling, facilitator coordination, participant experience, and partner communications (in collaboration with TCS Shared Services or vendor partners as appropriate).
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and site leaders to ensure learning programs are well‑integrated into business operations and leader routines.
  • Act as the primary North America point of contact for assigned COE programs and initiatives.
  • Monitor participation, completion, and effectiveness of learning programs using dashboards and analytics.
  • Apply learning evaluation methodologies (e.g., Kirkpatrick Levels 1–4) to assess impact and recommend improvements.
  • Translate learning data into clear insights and recommendations for COE leadership and business partners.
  • Partner with external learning vendors, facilitators, and content providers to deliver high‑quality programs aligned with enterprise standards in collaboration with the COE design team
  • Support vendor governance, quality reviews, and continuous improvement in collaboration with the COE.
  • Actively promote a culture of continuous learning, encouraging adoption of digital learning platforms and self‑directed development.
  • Contribute to communications, campaigns, and initiatives that reinforce learning as a business enabler across North America.
