The North America Creative Director will be instrumental in shaping and leading world-class creative campaigns that elevate employee moments and drive business success. Reporting to the Global Experience Director, the North America Creative Director oversees multiple teams, steering creative excellence with minimal oversight. They collaborate across departments, lead their team with inspiration, and ensure the Global Communication Consulting Practice delivers work that consistently surprises and delights clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Minimum 6 years related work experience. Previous Management experience. Advanced knowledge of current graphic design equipment, tools and techniques.
  • Degree in Art & Design/Advertising/Communications or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 10 years in advertising, communications, or a related field, with proven success leading creative teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple accounts and mentor diverse teams, fostering both growth and exceptional output.
  • Strong planning and operational skills with a focus on delivering measurable results.
  • Expertise in delivering both high-impact brand activations and nimble, low-cost creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of culture, niche and sub-communities – how different, diverse groups of consumers talk, interact and consume media
  • Proven track record in building strong client relationships and consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Passion for innovation and seeking new opportunities to challenge the status quo.
  • Demonstrates strong hands on design capabilities and able to communicate concepts to Graphic Design staff for delivery.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on creating work that delivers value for both the client and the practice.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire internal teams and clients alike.
  • A collaborative spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must have the Right to Work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the creative vision for the business.
  • Craft the creative vision for clients, aligning with brand and business objectives.
  • Lead creative efforts across multiple accounts, maintaining a high standard of originality and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage creative strategies, including scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Drive forward a culture of creative excellence, developing proactive ideas and reacting to real-time opportunities delivering work that consistently surprises and delights clients.
  • Conduct industry research to stay ahead of trends, continuously pushing for innovative and bold creative solutions.
  • Foster strong cross-departmental partnerships to integrate strategy, design, and production seamlessly.
  • Oversee the entire creative process, from concept to execution, ensuring consistency and quality across all outputs.
  • Inspire and mentor global creatives team, providing clear feedback and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Lead pitches and presentations to win new business, delivering compelling, client-focused creative solutions.
  • Maintain a sharp focus on commercial opportunities, developing products and ideas that drive results.
  • Prepare schedules and budgets resulting in on-time and profitable projects.
  • Participate in billing decisions and bill preparation assuring high collection rates and retention of clients; submit bills timely.
  • Sales and new business development responsibilities that include revenue generation annually.
  • Support forecasting and financial reporting for client delivery.
  • Provide direct leadership and operational support for the North America-based team.
  • Optimize team utilization and balance workloads to ensure seamless operational delivery and ensuring that staff meet their billable hours goals.
  • Set a positive tone for the creative team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Manage and guide team members’ professional growth, offering opportunities for development and career advancement.
  • Serve as a key voice in leadership discussions, advocating for creative priorities and addressing potential blind spots.
  • Shape and nurture the agency’s creative reputation, positioning it as an industry leader in experiential and earned-first work.
