About The Position

The NA Ag RCS Project Portfolio & Learning Manager will provide project design guidance, leadership in extracting, generating and sharing project insights, and ensure project Hub records are complete all toward improving NA Ag project portfolio impact toward goals. This position will focus on improving project design, capturing and applying lessons learned to maximize project success, ensuring portfolio impact is fully and accurately captured, and creating a culture of learning and iteration. Critical to enable that success will be creating and maintaining an insights and lessons learned database to enable project iteration and improvement over time. This position will work with leadership to identify lessons and insights at the portfolio level.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social science related field and 2 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience leading and working with cross functional teams and teams across multiple geographies
  • Experience extracting, synthesizing, interpreting and communicating information.
  • Experience preparing reports of findings.
  • Experience working and communicating with a wide range of people; in particular, building trust to enable effective sharing of information and insights

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to project teams during the project planning process to consider insights from past/existing projects in the portfolio and for incorporating strategies for capturing insights during and after project completion.
  • Contribute to designing and maintaining a database to capture, track, and query projects and insights; ensuring the database is accessible to all project staff
  • Engage multiple project teams to gather insights and impact from projects
  • Identify communities of practice among project teams to build opportunities for shared learning
  • Provide guidance on MEL and HUB data reporting to project staff to ensure data and insights completeness for all reporting needs
  • Provide data and reports to leadership and other core stakeholders including through presentations, written reports, and other formats to provide high level insights regarding strategy, implementation tools, and trends gleaned from reviewing the breadth of lessons and insights from across the portfolio, specific pillars or geographies, or contexts.
  • May require occasional domestic travel for multi-day retreats, meetings, and conferences / may require monthly or weekly travel across the state or region to meet with staff, clients, or partners.
  • May work long, flexible hours as needed to coordinate with staff and partners across the US or region.
