About The Position

The Noon Hour Supervisor assists the building principal with the conduct of student breakfast and lunch periods. This role involves ensuring students select compliant meal options, encouraging healthy choices, collecting lunch money for milk sales, supervising students in the lunchroom and on the playground, assisting students with food packaging, and sanitizing tables according to Health Department guidelines. The position also includes other assigned duties, maintaining a professional demeanor, and projecting a positive image of the School District.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to relate to people
  • Personable
  • Must be able to pass a qualifying physical examination

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working with children and adults is desirable but not necessary

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring students take compliant breakfast and lunch options at the POS and encourage students to make healthy choices.
  • Help the principal collect lunch money from students for milk only sales.
  • Supervise students in the lunch room and on the playground.
  • Assist students with the opening of milk and other food packaging as needed.
  • Wash and sanitize tables per Health Department guidelines.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
  • Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner commensurate with his/her position, and projects a good public image of the School District in dealing with the community and employee groups.
  • Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, squat and lift up to 50 pounds in assisting students, if needed.
