About The Position
This is an Associate Instructor Pool for Noncredit Math for the 2026-2027 academic year. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in mathematics or meeting specific minimum qualifications for credit instruction in Mathematics. Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse student backgrounds is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics
- OR meet the minimum qualifications for credit instruction in Mathematics, as follows: master’s degree in mathematics or applied mathematics
- OR bachelor’s degree in mathematics or applied mathematics AND master’s degree in statistics, physics or mathematics education
- OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area
- OR the equivalent
- AND have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
