About The Position
The Chemistry Department is seeking a research assistant to work in the lab of Dr. Paul Marshall. Research areas include chlorine and hydroxyl reactions with halogenated compounds in the gas phase, using an infrared apparatus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Training with lab safety and laboratory experience in a research context.
- Ability to work individually or collaboratively
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of lab safety procedures
- Experience with laboratory research
Responsibilities
- Participate in weekly meetings.
- Assist Principal Investigator (PI), post doctoral scientists, and graduate researchers in lab.
