About The Position
This position is available only to enrolled American University students. Most student positions at American University are eligible to use Federal Work Study (FWS) awards, with a few exceptions. The student will assist with research projects in Responsible AI, including literature review, implementation of machine learning and AI methodologies, experimentation, data analysis, and support in writing research papers. The position also involves contributing to the development and evaluation of AI systems with an emphasis on ethics, transparency, and reliability.
Requirements
- Must be an enrolled American University student.
- Expected commitment: approximately 10 hours per week during the Summer through the beginning of the Fall semester.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research projects in Responsible AI, including literature review, implementation of machine learning and AI methodologies.
- Experimentation.
- Data analysis.
- Support in writing research papers.
- Other duties assigned.
