About The Position

Bowhead is seeking individuals to network with for potential Non-Key Personnel positions supporting Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Arlington, Virginia, and Patuxent River, Maryland. The mission is to provide, plan, and implement NAVAIR-, Department of Defense-, and Department of the Navy-mandated actions, including operational, management, administrative, and technical support. These positions do not allow telecommuting; all work will be performed on-site.

The opportunity is contingent upon contract award and is not currently funded. Required education, experience, and certifications vary by position. Security requirements also vary by position; the highest clearance required for the contract is Secret. U.S. citizenship is required for Secret clearance at these locations.

The listed target compensation range is $17.81 per hour to $155,000 per year, commensurate with experience and position. This range is a general guideline; Bowhead considers factors including scope and responsibilities, experience, education and training, skills, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and with outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
• U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, management, administrative, and technical support for NAVAIR and mandated DoD and DoN actions.
• Perform duties associated with one of the listed non-key personnel roles, depending on position requirements.
