About The Position

Bowhead is seeking to network with qualified non-key personnel for potential support of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Arlington, Virginia, and Patuxent River, Maryland. The mission is to provide, plan, and implement NAVAIR-, Department of Defense-, and Department of the Navy-mandated actions, including operational, management, administrative, and technical support. The opportunity is contingent upon contract award and is not currently funded. Telecommuting is not allowed; all work will be performed onsite. Required education, experience, and certifications vary by position. Security requirements also vary by position; the highest clearance for the contract is Secret, for which U.S. citizenship is required at these locations. The target compensation range is $17.81 per hour to $155,000 per year, commensurate with experience and position. Compensation offers may also consider role scope and responsibilities, work experience, education and training, skills, internal peer equity, and market and business considerations.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels and with outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and periodically twist, bend, and squat.
• Education, years of experience, and certifications vary by position.
• U.S. citizenship is required for Secret clearance at these locations; security requirements vary by position.

Responsibilities

• Provide, plan, and implement NAVAIR-, DoD-, and DoN-mandated actions, including operational, management, administrative, and technical support.
• Potential non-key roles include Business Operations Specialists, Senior Management Analysts, Management Analysts, Executive Administrative Assistants, Administrative Assistants, Shuttle Drivers, and Chauffeurs/Driver-Couriers.
