About The Position

The Non-Emergency Transport (NET) Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of patients that have been approved by the Medicaid Broker. Using company vans, the driver will transport clients to their medical appointments, dental appointments, dialysis, hospital, pharmacy, and home.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with no major citations.
• BLS certification required.
• Good computer application experience.
• Human relation skills for personal interaction with employees, patients, physicians, and the general public.
• Ability to be pleasant, tactful, cooperative, responsible, compassionate, and courteous.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Job experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, dialysis, hospital, pharmacy, and home.
• Operate company vans for patient transportation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during transport.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients and the public.
