About The Position

The Spotter drives, transports, and spots trailers at appropriate loading docks and/or staging areas. The role involves moving trailers to and from dock doors to support loading and unloading, inspecting the truck before and after trips, and submitting reports on its condition. The Spotter also assists with loading and unloading trucks and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience using computer applications, including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.
• Perform duties as instructed by management.

Responsibilities

• Attach the drive unit to trailers and move them to and from dock doors for loading and unloading.
• Inspect the truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating its condition.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
