About The Position

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Local Route Driver to join its Operations team. The driver safely operates a company vehicle and manages a dedicated local route, providing customer service while maintaining secure transport and accurate records. The role involves scheduled pickups and deliveries, end-to-end route logistics, and handling materials without assistance. The driver works Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 AM and continuing until route completion, from the De Pere, Wisconsin location.

Requirements

A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Minimum age of 21.
Ability to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical.
Knowledge of safe driving practices and security procedures.
Ability to safely lift up to 70 pounds and carry or move heavy bins.
Ability to drive a commercial box truck, mobile shred unit, or tipper.
Ability to use wireless scanning technology and prepare paperwork.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in route transportation or a similar field.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain company vehicles safely and efficiently for scheduled pickups and deliveries, following Department of Transportation and Iron Mountain security standards.
Manage route logistics from start to finish, including securely loading, transporting, and unloading materials without assistance.
Prepare required paperwork and records accurately.
Coordinate with dispatch and customers to support timely deliveries.
Provide strong customer service and verbal communication as a representative of Iron Mountain.
Make an average of 15 or more stops per day.
