About The Position

W.B. Mason is hiring a full-time Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver to deliver and install furniture and bulk supply items for customers. The role offers year-round work, guaranteed 8 hours of pay per day, daily overtime opportunities, and a Monday through Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends. Drivers complete a pre-trip inspection, follow assigned routes, install furniture to customer specifications, and provide excellent customer service while representing W.B. Mason. The position may involve operating material handling equipment (MHE); the company provides and requires training and certification for each piece of equipment before use. Employees may face disciplinary action, up to and including termination, for using equipment without the required training and certification.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Have experience with basic furniture assembly.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
• Have outstanding communication skills.
• Be fluent in English.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Be able to manage time appropriately to meet deadlines.
• Be able to lift or move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Complete a pre-trip inspection before starting the route.
• Deliver and install furniture according to customer specifications.
• Deliver and place bulk supply items for customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with supervisors.
• Navigate varying weather conditions.
• Represent W.B. Mason to customers.
• Operate material handling equipment only after completing the required training and certification.
