About The Position

W.B. Mason is hiring a full-time Non-CDL Furniture Delivery Driver to deliver and install furniture and deliver bulk supply items to customers. The role offers guaranteed eight hours of pay per day, daily overtime opportunities, year-round work, and a Monday through Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends. Pay is $19–$21 per hour.

Drivers perform a pre-trip inspection before leaving on their route, complete deliveries and installations to customer specifications, and provide excellent customer service. They communicate with supervisors, build relationships with customers, work safely and efficiently in varying weather conditions, and represent W.B. Mason to its customers. The role may involve operating material handling equipment; the company provides and requires training and certification for each piece before use.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Have experience with basic furniture assembly.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have outstanding communication skills.
• Be fluent in English.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Be able to manage time appropriately to meet deadlines.
• Be able to lift or move up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a pre-trip inspection before starting the route.
• Deliver and install furniture according to customer specifications.
• Deliver and place bulk supply items for customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Communicate with supervisors.
• Complete deliveries safely and efficiently, including in varying weather conditions.
• Represent W.B. Mason to its customers.
• Operate material handling equipment only after completing required training and certification.
